This space began as a small home gym — then briefly became an office with little more than white walls and a desk. Functional, but far from inspiring. We transformed it completely, layering an olive-toned French wash on the walls and introducing all new furniture and furnishings that add texture and depth. The result is a tranquil workspace that supports focus while offering calm and quiet inspiration each day.

We worked closely with the family to design the kitchen and bathroom of this Federation classic in the leafy lower north shore. In the kitchen, Calacatta marble brings a classic elegance, paired with dark cabinetry for depth and contrast. The bathroom continues the story, where the same marble is softened by a curved tile feature wall — a subtle note of whimsy within a calm, timeless palette. The result is a home that feels rooted in its heritage yet quietly attuned to modern family life.

A classic federation home in Sydney's leafy lower north shore gets a refresh, balancing old and new. The re-design included a kitchen facelift, freshly painted interior and exterior, re-polished oak floors and newly installed flooring upstairs.

We completely redesigned the layout of this bathroom to maximise space and functionality. Balancing beauty with everyday function, we used natural materials that stand the test of time. The striking viola marble anchors the room, while handcrafted zellige tiles and aged brass tapware bring texture and warmth. It’s calm, considered, and built to get better with age.

This parents’ retreat was completely transformed into a modern, tranquil space using a warm, neutral palette. New timber floors were added in the bedroom. Earthy tones and layered textures were used for furniture, window treatments and soft furnishings, creating an inviting and calming ambiance. The overall design resulting in a simple but serene space.
